  I was gifted a bottle or 2015 Icollirossi Barolo and liked it very much. I decided to give the 2016 a try. Big mistake. I'm having difficulty with the 2016 vintage. All reports are that it is stellar vintage, but so far no luck for me. My first observation was that the color was a bit brown. My second observation was that the nose was weak. Upon sipping I found the wine to be dull and a bit earthy. I have sipped this wine over a three day period and I have sensed no improvement. I will not be purchasing any more.
