Clear, medium gold wine with some glints in it. Aromas of pineapple, wet stone, possibly lemon and a hint of orange . Very acidic with medium body and alcohol. Upon tasting, added pear and unripened honeydew to the profile and a slightly sour finish with some minerality.

The first of a trio of wines that have unfailingly reminded me not to buy wine in supermarkets Beeswax improves to hay over 4 days Unusually boring oranges, even for Valencias Mostly undertones though: sweet birch and watermelon rind, and perhaps pine needles Maybe faded, though my thoughts generally echo those across multiple vintages and ways this wine is listed Would go brilliantly with the sort of melony oysters I dislike
