Medium+ intensity with a lovely reductive note (I’m slightly addicted to these reductive notes, and this was very good), ripe fruit, yellow and white peach, touch of smoke, minerality. Medium+ acidity, long finish. 91-92
Something I will seek out more often. From 70 year old vines

Pale yellow. An attractive and easy-going, if not particularly intriguing Chassagne. On the nose this offers slightly riper yellow apple and melon aromas that compliment the more classic green apple, crème fraîche, unbuttered popcorn, toast, and crushed rock notes. On the palate this is medium bodied with medium to medium+ acicidity and an appealing, silky texture that is at once crisp and ever so slightly curvy. Bright, sweet fruit flavors emphasize a lush sort of character but this is still quite obviously white Burgundy.
