Deep, bright purplish-red hue. Aromas of red berries, cherry and less so black berries. On the palate, medium-intensity tannins with a bright, refreshing acidity that brings out the fruit flavors and also almost a perception of sweetness. This Malbec was tasted blind against its Argentine counterpart.
I find it as a remarkable value.

Smooth sweetness on the nose with a light dry finish. Strong notes of blueberry's and butter.

Very interesting, but needs more time. It's got some heft and some complexity waiting to come out. Very enjoyable. Probably try again in another year.

Medium ruby color.
Aromatics are primarily blue fruit driven. Blueberry, black cherry, baking spices, vanilla / oak, and a faint whiff of licorice.
Young and tannic on the palate. Body is medium, acid is moderate. Simple but very reasonable for $10. Would benefit from a few more years in bottle.
