Good and yummy US style Chardonnay. Some popcorn, oak and lemon crest, slightly creamy. Not over fat, but obviously lacking some elegance and complexity. Price point questionable , yet easy going and very enjoyable. Decent amount of acidity, not sweet and ‘over the top’.

solid white fruit, good density, more stuffing than complexity, but we're drinking this quite young. had after a '20 Droin Vaillons and i see a lot of similarities between these two wines. St Rita hills again showing itself to be the closest new world equivalent to chablis. Hold remaining bottle for 5 years

Has now been 15 months since I drank the other 2020. I noticed that one had more of a citrus profile back then and it has definitely done a number on gaining more yellow peach and and honeysuckle, ripe kiwi and mango. The finish is still mineral dense and a little leaner, but has toned down a touch vs 15 months ago. This wine is in it for the long haul, and will definitely go another 5-7 years easily. I love Sanford and Benedict Pinots and these Chardonnays are turning out to be just as intricate and intense!

Tasted over 2 hrs -translucent light gold -subtle slightly sweet lemon ocean -med+ acidity, med- weight diffuse low-key sweet lemon-tinged fruit framed in saline -has some Chablis features with just a bit of New World sweetness to the fruit, good now

See previous notes. Domestic Chablis. Candied lemon, ginger, salt, mineral. Lovely bottle.
