Hints of reduction on opening, reticent nose. Would decant if drinking now. Mineral driven nose, light hints of lemon, salty air. Light oak treatment, crisp, bright acid. Nice wine, better in 4-5 years, but not great value for the price our friends paid.

Arnot-Roberts fall 2022 open house (Healdsburg): extremely reticent at the moment, i can't be sure i got a good read in the time we had… but it has a nice creamy feel that holds together citric, mineral, and warm soft fruity notes and keeps going thru the finish. this definitely needs more bottle age to start showing what it has.
this one seemed the closest to a more "traditional" Chard in that the Sanford & Benedict gets the Arnot-Roberts style. i do wonder whether the fans of either camp will be very happy about it.
