Maya lemon on the nose with some funky notes. Good length, with citrus and stone fruit, and a hint of minerality. Well structured - you can see why this has won a few medals. As always will be interesting to see how this evolves.

Grape, Grain and Graze Festival (Sydney showgrounds, Sydney): Slight struck match, Sweet stone fruit, meaty notes tend to the implication of funky wild ferment. Textured and tangy, tight, the fruit is slightly muted supported by those struck match notes. Hmm.

Really pretty good but fell over by night three so wouldn't hold forever.
