really surprising good for its age. cherry berry fruit and very bright with a long finish of rose pedals and spices. started to fade a bit after an hour of being open but really nice with our dinner of ratatouille and barley. as the others are saying, DRINK UP. this one ain't gettin' any better my friends

14.2% alcohol. Drinking very well. Bright red cherry color. Complex nose of black cherry, earth, and spice notes. In the mouth, balanced and nicely textured, with plenty of cherry fruit but also excellent earth and spice interplay. The acidity is pronounced but not overbearing. Long finish. A beautiful wine from a beautiful vintage. A-

14.2% alcohol. A really delicious wine. Bright red color. Slightly tight bouquet initially, but this really opened up to reveal a delicious, clearly delineated, pure, and balanced Pinot that represents this great vintage very well. On the nose, red and black Pinot fruit, with plenty of minerality, a touch of earth and spice, and a hint of chalkiness. In the mouth, linear and focused without having sharp edges. The fruit glides across the palate, leaving a wake of earth and spice, which hits a solid wall of acidity. The finish is showing some grip. A couple more years ought to fully round out this wine. A-
