Think I might have had a good 2010/11 of this, and a very disappointing 2013. This is a good one; and though not a particularly 'serious' PN, it's fairly dense, fruit forward (red & black) and sweeter on the palate than the nose suggests. A lush PN with just enough savoury in the middle and drying nuttiness on the finish to give it something beyond being quality plump fun.

Good wine. Good level of density and complexity with plum, dark fruits and spice, cedar, but something of a green edge and rather forward acidity, perhaps a product of its youth.

4th Saturday Brown Bagger (J&L's): Double blind. Complex bouquet features game, black cherry, clay, sassafras and earthy elements. On the light side of medium-bodied, with flavors of cherry and earth. Subtle spice notes in the finish. Nice fruit and well-balanced. (R&D)

Mila brought to CDC at South. Another Marlborough PN that I like (like Babich). Good on day 3 too. I agree with the 2 previous reviewers. 91-pts.
