  • Wonderfully complex flavors profile overlay an apple fruit profile. Spices and a hint of petrol are present.

  • A textbook Riesling from the Kamptal. Similar in style to the 2005 Ametzberg, but more approachable (surprisingly). Clear green-yellow color. Lovely mineral nose showing scents of apricot, peach, citrus fruit and some greenery notes. The palate is very fresh and tangy, with an elegant structure, a good balance and a crisp acidity. Clean, long and harmonious aftertaste. Drink now through 2011.

  • David Bowler Fall 2007 Portfolio Tasting (NYC): Light lemon color. Alluring nose of jasmine tea and ripe pears. Full on the palate with sweet honeyed notes at the middle and a tart finish. Yummy.
