This was one of those bottles that leave you wondering. I would have guessed no older than ‘78. Too big and young? Source (Europe) claims to have “library wine” access to Bouchard cellars (where stuff hasn’t moved an inch for decades). Cork is enough of a mess to indicate no refresh done. Vintage good enough not to need “help” from other regional stuff(?). Defer to Xavier94’s note. 92+ regardless

Dark (color), underdevloped profile of dark Kirsch liquor, oak/vanilla with some caramel/coffee scents (indicating proper age?). This was big and powerful with Teurons structure intact. Maybe this had help along the way? Not quite the sous bois layering I would expect at this age with a rather atypical profile.
