  Excellent, still has a long life ahead but drinking well now. Forest floor, cherries and spice. Tannins are firm at first but softening with air. Silky texture. Lovely

  If your taste in Pinot noir tends towards purity of fruit and perfume maybe give this a miss, but if you like spice and structure it could be a winner. We got Chinese 5-spice and smoky charred wood, with some dark fruit underneath and a savoury edge. Leather and liquorice notes are starting to emerge and the relatively high tannins and acidity suggest this still has a bit of evolution to go.
