Deep ruby in complexion. The nose is buoyed by spices especially clove, cardamom and bay leaves leading to raspberry and blackberry. The palate has weight and structure, the merlot speaks initially and then the Cabernet franc takes over at the end with its boldness. Smooth yet medium to full body, bright acidity and polished tannins. The finish is pleasant.

Popped and poured through vinturi into decanter.
Wow. I really like this wine.
Nose of aromatic rose petals, with some green grass.
The palate is fresh, juicy ripe fruit - not over-ripe or raisin, but rather fresh, ripe sweetness.
Rich, full, soft mouthfeel.
The finish is medium length, not overly spicy.
Very nice wine!
