  deep color, med body, very nice, drinks like a 2d or 3d Bordeaux, soft tannins, still some fruit

  Drank with stew and it has held up well considering the age. Tannins are nearly gone but the wine was enjoyable .

  Strong, enjoyable bottle, if a little simple. Opened up nicely with some air over a couple of hours, but certainly doesn't need more time in the cellar. Juicy and brushy meet in a harmonious middle with this one.

  It's been several weeks and I forgot to write down notes but this was wonderful. It's matured to a nice state. Nice balance. I'm not a CA fan really but this was fantastic.
