Note: I use the recommended scale, so 85 represents a very good wine.
Although not be design, I have had three bottles of this wine spaced six year apart. This last bottle was similar to the others (although I must confess, my memory is not that good). Very good bottle of wine, although not outstanding. Benefitted from decanting in a small bottom decanter. No reason (at all) to hold.

Sort of a mild version of a cab but balanced and integrated. Drinking well but not a lot of length. Another cellar surprise as I expected this to be a pop and drop

These old Craufords are good, but I prefer the Maroons that were produced from those grapes in later years. This 2004 is probably just past peak, to my palate, but is still drinking well.

Decent, but not outstanding. Not much fruit present. Reasonably balanced. Might have waited too long.

Cherries and chocolate with great mouth-feel and balance. A Howell mountain wine.
