My first time tasting a Clos du Cellier wine, and certainly not my last. The 2020 Givry Premier Cru is a classic in the making. I let my wine breathe in the glass for 30 minutes before I began sipping. This wine needs about a decade of aging, but is most definitely drinking nicely right now. I'm rating it 92, but it could go as high as 95 in time. Is it worth $69 a bottle? A bargain indeed.

Incredible concentration for a Burgundy. California like, yet unmistakable red Burgundy. Drinks well young, but is a candidate for the cellar. '19 and '20 will go down as great vintages for red Burgundy. Stock up!

Pure bliss after the dull Côte Rôtie SO Brune 2017, this is more powerful and tasty plus huge seduction, wow.
