  well past its prime i suspect, but certainly not 'offensive' yet. Browning a little in color. Dominated by remnant tannins now. a faint hint of acetic acid running through nose and palate early after opening, but this partially blew off in an hour or so. Still reasonable, certainly better than the cali cask cab, which was my other option tonight.
