  Medium-deep garnet in color. Full, forward & attractive nose redolent of ripe fruit aromas of cherries, blueberries & strawberries with overtones of spice & floral notes, cocoa, some cherry-cola, hints of sous-bois, earthy/dusty, minerals & a hint of oak/vanilla. Medium bodied with a very good concentration of balanced, smooth textured, ripe fruit flavors of cherries, blueberries & mulberries with spices, cherry-cola, cocoa, minerals, herbs & a hint of oak/vanilla. Lingering finish. Drinks quite well at present with extended airing but should develop further with additional aging.
