Best bottle yet of this wine. The fruit is so deep and well balanced. I don't have experience with this Bedrock cuvee, and don't know if it will improve with age. This fruit phase is so delicious, I think the wine is best consumed within its first 5-8 years

How did I not buy two cases of this! For me - very nice dark fruit, meat, and smoke. Fruit v tannins and both win. Maybe I had the unicorn bottle left in the cellar - but I very much enjoyed this.

Lightly bretty on day one with high acid and no mid-palate depth. Unpleasantly raw, so set aside and re-tasted on day three on which we found the brett replaced with a lightly smokey element and otherwise, still too raw for current drinking. Even worse, I don't taste the potential for this to turn into something worth waiting for. Dumped the rest of the bottle on the rhododendrons.

Just not a Bedrock I have ever really warmed too. It's perfectly decent, but well below some past vintages of the CA Syrah let alone the SVD Syrah's.
