Palate with medium plus plus acid, mild tannin, dry. Blackberry, coffee, dark chocolate, olives, dark cherry, cola aftertaste with some cherry licorice and fennel. Bright and lively. Refreshing. Better with a half hour-hour of air

Day 1 - Color - inky purple with vivid pastel at the rim, a lot of sediments stuck inside the bottle. Nose - jammed blueberries, violet, baked sweet potato, iron, and a hint of ripe banana. Mouth confirms nose, with medium+ acidity, mild muddy tannin, and smooth/saline/juicy undertone of coconut water. 12% abv, not oaky, never heavy despite inkiness, with very slight co2 smokiness, smooth/lively/earthy like Lambrusco. Tastes almost like southern Rhone than northern (or hilly Luberon/ventoux), having good purity and delicate watercolor nuances, but potato/banana elements keep me from taking it too seriously. Went well with mildly spiced Tibetan damplings (momo), also would go with simply salted Chicken intestines skewers (yakitori). Excellent daily wine to lighten up a cloudy/tired day. 88-89.
Day 2 - backbone of acidity and tannin is more upfront. Overall impression did not change - southern Rhone-like.
Day 3 was the best - gained concentration and focus. Additional layers of fermented Puer black tea and plum are balancing the sweet potatoes. Palate has thick core of dried pineapple. 89-90.

Tasted at Le Crocodile restaurant with beef tartare, bone marrow, frog legs, and beef Wellington.
Bright red fruit, high acidity, medium tannins. Went very well with the food!
