Nose doesn't give very much today. On the palate, an initial briny hit gives way to nice dark and light fruits, plums and strawberry brightness. This progressed in the glass giving a much more perfumed and fruity finish. Nice and easy drinking Syrah with good body and very low tannin mouthfeel.

A little barnyard, broken stones, and some vegetal undertones that sort of anchor all the other notes. The palate has some very brined qualities as it develops — moves towards some crunchy berries but still features a fair amount of ripeness. Almost like fresh cranberries in their own juices. High acid.
Interesting wine, feels fresh and open without being frivolous. That said, not a lot of the meaty more savory notes many will hope for. Good wine if you come in without too many expectations.

Smells like an art room; crayons and clay with a note of blueberries. Very rustic.
