  Undoubtedly fantastic wine but deserves some more time to develop in bottle.
  
  Nose is fairly muted at this stage, and still features a touch of unintegrated oak. Despite this, the wine shows lovely cranberry and cherry notes between a thicket of warm rose, sage, wet earth, and slate. Slightest suggestion of Syrah-like gaminess as well.
  
  Shows its potential on the palate. The wines shows a rich balance of finesse and tension between powdery moderate tannin and moderate acidity.
  
  Highly enjoyable now if not remarkable. May blossom with time.
