Monthly Tasting Group EEE #034; Burgundy (@ TB): Beautiful bouquet with some barnyard which blows off, red and dark berry fruits, minerals and herbs and spices. On the palate red berry fruits, cherries, some earthiness, juicy and pleasant acidity as well as slightly stocky tannin. A nice and harmonious wine, ready now and the next few years.

nose: lovely and elegant nose for such a young burg. Very well balanced with pretty tones of dark red cherries, earthen tones, dark spices, red floral hints and bits of sous bois. Very well put together and shining at such a young age, though still primary
taste: very big acidity gets in the way. Some tones of sous bois, raspberries, red cherries and earthen tones poke through, but the acidity is almost overwhelming, especially on the mid palate at this young stage
overall: will obviously need a few more years to calm down the acidity. Lots of promise on this extremely young wine. Excellent depth already and excellent aromatics, this can turn into a real beauty and shows off how great the vintage is

House of Glunz - A Fine Tasting of Burgundy (Old Town, Chicago, IL. Near the Northwest corner of Wells and Division Streets): Nose: Nice light bodied wine that struck me as easy going and relaxed. Raspberry and strawberry take center stage.
Taste: Acidic; Wood notes; Good fruit.
Overall: Nose was better than the taste. 87-88 Points.
