  Straightforward, clean, yet somewhat harsh style. Yellow apple quickly effaced by too-bitter lime pith with waft of vanilla and slight hint of allspice. Nice minerality and balanced acidity. My wife doesn’t agree with yellow apple flavor. Not a good value.

  No apparent new oak here with a ripe but pure nose of green and yellow citrus fruits with some granny smith apple and powerful minerality, almost slate-like, that pops through the midpalate and drags the more-supple fruit into the finish. Good midpalate density without quite the "crackling acidity" I am looking for in more cooler vintages. This should age quite well and, perhaps, show even more terroir transparency? 91-92.
