This was drinking really nicely and seems ready for business. A collaboration between Raj Parr and Marco Pelletier from a more obscure plot belonging to Gonet that they really believe has potential. It is a very seamless wine. Elegant, fresh and with some nuance and good length. Very enjoyable. You can always question the "value" or Champagne, but I didn't feel it was excessively priced at about the $100 mark.

This bottle appears to have benefited for a year or more in bottle. It is fresh and zippy with lime, green apple and ginger. Really not hiding anything about its BdB character. Initially a bit sharp, but eventually with air, it comes into balance. Strangely this is a champagne I would consider decanting. The carbonation held up well throughout the day. Very nice wine. Tough value proposition but I’m happy to drink it!

Mainly 02 Red Burgundy (Noizé, London): Only brief impressions. Palest straw. Apple fresh. Quite creamy and rounded through the mid palate with a positive finish. Would make a lovely aperitif. ***1/2

Made by Marco Pelletier & Raj Parr. BdB from the Hautes Mottes lieu-dit. No dosage, 3,500 bottles made. Very very pale color. Very fresh, really full of minerality/stone. Some green apple starts to emerge after about 45 minutes, straining under the weight of the chalk. Tough to really read this bottle right now, might need a good bit more time in bottle to truly come together

Grand Cru Portfolio Tasting (3/9 Grand Cru Portfolio Tasting, NYC): Nose is nice, but somehow edges into a somewhat generic palette; feels somehow like an undistinguished BdB with a coarse bead. A rich, bread-y BdB finish, but does this justify its price?
