Black with a deep cherry tint. Dominant aroma is creamy butterscotch. Startlingly tart. What IS this wine? Not that it's undrinkable, but it's too assertive to drink alone. Maybe with a (red wine!) vinaigrette? [Cork + cage; 11% abv; Booths, £12.99]

Consumed with (very mismatched) Thai curry as well as with chocolate.
Easy drinking summer wine. Not overly complex. Just enjoyable. Dry style with a fruit forward nose and palette.

Stony black cherry. I really wonder what would happen if you aged this fifteen years... brown stones would taste great.

It wants me to drink it with food--again and again.

Previous reviews are spot on. Dry, fizzy, dirty blueberries and grapey.
