This light golden Chardonnay was popped, poured and tasted over a two-hour period. Fully opening at cellar temperature after an hour of aeration, it serves up a package of citrus, yellow apples, stone fruits, chalk and honeysuckle. Medium-bodied, seamlessly alcoholic (13%) and judiciously oaked, it stays solid on the mid-palate and lingers nicely on the back end, but lacks the acid necessary for a lasting impression. Drink now-2029.

This tastes older and more evolved than it should. Nice light color but the palate was caramel, white flowers and apricot. Moderate to low acid. Still good for the price.
