Oh, if only I’d received the Tesson single vineyard wine I *thought* I’d bought from the auction house! I think the slope of the hill would have done much for this aged white, but it was still excellent and probably the White wine of the night in my group, even beating out an aged Chassagne. Lovely fruit and nuttiness and honey to it still. Drink within the next three years tops, though.

Last bottle from a case bought on release. Still nicely fresh with lots of ripe apple aromas and flavors, followed by a good burst of energy on finish. This still has good life.

Ripe stone fruit aromas, still very fresh and bright with a hint of roasted nuts. Similar flavors, again slightly on the ripe side, but sensational for a 2006 Villages level wine.

Still drinking so nicely, still very fresh. Lots of ripe apple, some peach and nut butter hints.

Ripe stone fruit with spice and almond butter hints. Still very fresh and vibrant for its age. I'd have thought 2009 if served blind.
