Primary nose. Not a whole lot going on there, but very nice what is there (plum, cherry). At first PnP, hot on the palate. Good concentration and length though. Very good balance between ripeness and fresheness. Fine, firm tannins. Coming back to it a few hours later, either the alcohol didn't stand out as much or it got a chance to come together. Much nicer. Very good, but somewhat simple wine for me.

In a really great place right now. A blend of a bunch of different vineyards, pretty much up and down all of Napa. 50% new French oak. Pick on the "early side" but not way early. There is freshnessness to it. And good tension and still wound up to me. Casey notes its really coming together. A super impressive set of wines.

I have been double blind tasting many Cabernet wines recently in the 75 and under range This wine is accessible and delicious Possibly the best wine I have tasted in recent times. A big style but polished plush smooth tannin pure Napa fruit and a carpet ride finish

Just a touch green to the nose. But this is day two. A bit hard edged.
