I poured my La Serena into a decanter and waited about three hours until I took a sip. The color was very nice, but the aroma left something to be desired. My first impression of this wine wasn't bad. It had a pleasant flavor, but nothing spectacular. I recanted my wine, and I let it sit for two days. The wine had mellowed a bit, but tannin was still a factor. I think that this Brunello needs another five years to be properly enjoyed.
