  Medium ruby red in color. Full, forward & attractive nose of ripe fruit aromas of cherries, currants & strawberries with earthy overtones, mushrooms, floral, spices, minerals, herbs & a hint of oak/vanilla in the background. Medium bodied with a good concentration of well balanced & smooth textured, ripe fruit flavors of cherries, strawberries & cranberries with herbs, spices & minerals. Drinks quite well with decanting & extended airing although it appears it will benefit and develop further with additional aging.
