Lots of black fruit and lots of wood on the nose. About as big as big can be. A selection of the best grapes in the winery, and then I guess all Grenache. 6 barrique and all new barrique at that. And then in all barrique yes. They don't want the wood taste but it most certainly tastes like wood.

One of the darkest colored, and most complete wines of the vintage, the wine is equally dark on the palate. Rich, lush and deep, with fabulous layers of richly-textured, glycerin-filled fruits. This in an incredible achievement for the vintage. The depth of flavor, length and freshness does not quit, it just keeps right on going. The wine is made using 100% old vine Grenache. Drink from 2024-2040.

A really delicious and great C9dP with almost 100% Grenache (I have read in the 2020 is a splash Syrah). The "Deux Freres" developed really great about the duration of 7 days which shows a good aging potential. Drank from a Riedel Veritas New World Pinot Noir-glass which was a really good choice. Best wishes to all of you.

Superbe nez de cerise noire, super concentre, leger nez de vanille, tres frais, eucalyptus… Superbe fraicheur et equilibre, huge amount of super silky and polished tannin Very very nice! 98-99/100

Drank this too soon. Wonderful body and nose; too ripe at this point.
