  Purchased at their Paso Robles tasting room
  
  Appearance: dark purple color and no sediment
  
  Nose:medium-intense aromas of ripe red current, plum, and violets with notes of leather and black pepper
  
  Palate: medium(+) bodied, medium tannins, off-dry, medium acid. Plush texture and medium(+) balance. Medium flavors of candied red raspberry and cherry with notes of umami (almost like chicken broth). Medium/medium(+) complexity and a medium/medium(+) savory and red fruit finish.
  
  Super easy drinking with ripe red fruit and umami flavors. A very nice zin that I think would pair well with turkey and meaty Chinese dishes. Would likely age well for ~5 years or so I think
