  I'm always looking for "new to me" producers to explore so I took a flyer based on the reviews. Classic Cornas flavors lurking in the shadows of this young wine. With an extended splash decant into a wide base decanter this blossomed with air. In my estimation this will be at it's best with another 3-4 years of bottle age to get some of the more savory aspects of this wine.

  Very dense and purple. Initially opened with some olive notes and dark fruit, but that gave way to a more monolithic taste that suggests it may just be way too early to really get a handle on this wine.
