Love this producer. Normally I wouldn't think of opening one of these so early, but with the vintage, I figured why not. And I wasn't disappointed. You definitely need some air to tame the structure a bit, but it's nice now. Will be better in five years. I think the 2010s is perfect now, but don't think this will have the same longevity.

Beautiful and elegant even at this young age, this is going to be delicious when it reaches maturity!
Mint, rosemary, ripe black cherries, ripe black currant,s tomato leaf, balsamic on the nose. Pretty expressive, with a medium + intensity of aromas. The palate is more closed off, owing to its youth. The flavors ARE consistent with the aromas, just very tightly wound. Short finish that will someday unravel beautifully.
Medium + body with medium + acid and medium lingering tannins. Developing. Check back in 5 years on this; but it could go 10.

Had with Breaded Dijon/Rosemary lamb and black garlic potatoes.
An amazing Brunello! I really loved it and it paired well with the food. Black cherry, licorice and strawberry were very noticeable on the nose as well as on the palate. A little bit of dried leaves and balsamic as well. This is a high quality Brunello that is worth buying and aging a 8-12 years

For my taste, too sweet. I have another bottle that will stash for a while and see what happens.

Young, rich, 2018 visible. Still the elegance of this producer shows through. Clearly too young. Drink after 2026.
