not blind Some forest ground in the beginning, later violet and dark cherries, very smooth and still some corners and edges. Oak well integrated. 92-93

Very good at its level, lots of viticultural efforts, low yields, this is a traditional Gevrey village, pre fermentation cold soaked, probably short elevage, good quality wine, just a bit heady at this time of its evolution, opulent, some heat but retaining good freshness, will develop more finesse with cellar time.

Popped and poured. Biodynamic Gevrey, from a great village parcel "Aux Corvées". Brilliant ruby red, with purplish hues. Quite viscous. Elegant, complex textbook Gevrey's nose. Sour cherry, redcurrants, raspberries, pomegranate, blood orange flesh and zest. Developing in the glass with iron, wet moss, barnyard, forest floor, Jamaican pepper, milck chocolate, nutmeg, cinnamon sticks, violets. The palate is lively, good concentration, good structure and racy acidity, lots of savouriness and freshness. Tannins are punchy yet silky and sweet. Noble rounded mouthfeel, classic, complex palate, fruity, oaky, well rounded and quite masculine. Great lenght being at a Village level, could be even a 1er Cru at blind. Overall a great Gevrey, quite racy and powerful now, without losing elegance, but give it 3 to 5 years to fully come together. Hold for 10/15 years. 14% with any heat.
