Almost PnP although it did develop and smooth out during a restaurant dinner over the next hour +. It’s made up of 50% Sangiovese, and 25% each cab sav and merlot. Initially it tasted soft and fleshy like a Merlot but as air time increased that brought out the more prominent fruit of the other grapes. Soft and likeable tannins with good length. It’s available by the case for around £21 and at that price it’s an absolute bargain. I think it should keep for a few years.

Henri Bloem, Bloemendaal, autumn tasting: flowers, smooth, gentle spices; it is, however, the persistent and complex aftertaste that impressed me most.
