Deep dark reddish-purple almost opaque in color. Full, forward, & fragrant aromas of ripe fruit aromas of dark cherries, blackberries & cassis with overtones of dusty/earthy & floral notes, herbs, olives, anise, pepper, cocoa, minerals, leather & hints of oak/vanilla in the background. Full bodied with a very good concentration of well balanced & smooth textured, ripe fruit flavors of dark cherries, blackberries & plums with cocoa, herbs, minerals & a note of vanilla/oak. Lingering finish. Drinks quite well at present with decanting & extended airing (90 min+) but should develop further with additional aging at which time it may merit a higher score (93+). Very good QPR. A classically styled & reasonably priced Napa Cabernet in stark contrast to the modern manufactured, overpriced & overripe vanilla/oak frankenwines.

Nose: Subdued red cherry, plum, thyme and fruit leather. Somewhat undistinguished. Palate: rounded and slightly jammy with red and black fruit notes, touch of spice and a modest amount of tannin. Finish: leather, herbs and powdery tannin.
Good solid balanced cabernet from mid valley floor.

Good color and body, if the 4 wines tasted I liked this one the most. All were California Cabernets from Napa of equal quality. This had the most complexity and flavor profile that I enjoy. Berries, vanilla, etc.

Blackcurrant, liquorice. Medium tannins and acidity but very smooth. A nice finish.
