A blend of 86% Cabernet Sauvignon and 14% Merlot. 15.28% ABV. 23 month in French and American oak. 835 cases produced.
The cork was half soaked. The wine was inky dark ruby in colour and looked youthful. It offered sweet ripe red and black fruit, bell pepper, spices, liquorice, mint, coffee, tobacco and a hint of smoke on the nose and palate, with some VA, good acidity, fine, firm tannin and good length. The well-structured wine started to shine and drank very well after about 90 minutes in the decanter. Very good. Would buy again. Drink or hold.

Last bottle brought back from our honeymoon. This had another decade in it if we had just waited for our 20th... Nose shows mint, herb, slight green notes, red fruit, and eucalyptus Palate is complete, with dark fruit, high acids, and a decently long finish. Very enjoyable and a wine worth cellaring. Would buy again

Deep, dark, almost black in colour, no SA smokiness on the nose. Mint and dark fruit on the nose, full bodied with a tannic finish. Nice now, but hopefully even nicer in a year or two.

Deep ruby coloured. Nose is developing, and has aromas of ripe red and black fruit and an intense black olive scent. Sweet spices also, toast and smoke. Palate is medium +, has primary fruit aromas like blackberry and blueberry, tannins rather coarse but has additionally heavy flavours, olive paste, ink, graphite along with vegetality. Complex wine, with good length and intensity of flavours, it is just that it lacks some elegance as the tannins are clay textured and aromas heavy.

Holding up well. Dark with ripe berries, earthy leather and mild smoke. Plenty of acidity and medium tannins. Complex.
