Monthly tasting club "The Tasting Club" 2016-?; Bordeaux 2003 and 2004 (@ My place): Creamy red and dark berry fruits in the bouquet. A firm amount of earth and barnyard, but also creamy impressions. On the palate coffee and toast, dark berries, good acidity, slightly sticky tannin, some bell pepper and ok tannin. No great finesse, but certainly a very ok wine. Ready now and the next few years. 87 - 88

Drank in a wine bar in Paris ( Le Rendez Vous Des Amis). Mauve edge-purple red. Semi opaque. Non specific nose of berries and gravel follows through on the palate which is medium to full bodied off dry with a frim finish spoilt by some bitterness.
