  Opened this way too young, fuck me. Moderate garnet in the glass with ruby edges. Nose is tiiiiight, but after a few hours of decanting it opens up to red fruit, red florals, some baking spices. Not much going on, at least not that much as I was expecting. The palate is tight man, the tannins are like sandpaper, the acidity is through the roof. I wouldn't say there is no stuffing here - it's not a big Barolo - but this will definitely open up and refine itself more in the years to come. Note to self: come back to this in 5 years again.

  89-91
  Beautiful light color.
  Elegant notes of rose pedals and rhubarb.
  Gentle tannins given the young age.
  It was nice, perhaps a bit simple…

  From the wine list at Tre Galli, Torino. Quite tight on initial opening, but with air and food this becomes more expressive. Medium weight, cherries and lots of tar with the tannins clamping down on the finish. Last glass was best with traditional agnolotti. I would give this at least 5 more years before opening or a longer decant.
