This is a serious bottle of wine. Decanted for several hours prior to dinner. Against the acidity of the 97 Musar this wine came across smooth and deep, with baked blackberry pie notes and slight vanilla. On its own there is medium acid that bodes well for aging. Buy more

A nice punchy Syrah. Blackberry and graphite on the nose. Flavours of cherry, plum, clove, oak. Good acidity well intergrated tannins. Delightfully long finish.

Full body, deep purple color. Intense aroma of black fruits, black pepper and some spicy background. Black currants, blackberry palate and spicy finish of good length. Powerful and rich but easy drinking, complex and balanced, typical Syrah acidity and grippy tannins. Food friendly, well pairing to soft cheese. Serve 18ºC - 20ºC. Still young but already enjoyable. Open two hours ahead. Drink now while young and next six years.
