  • Decent but not good enough. The fruit is fake like candy skittles and even though there is some acidity, it’s not quite enough to balance out the fake sweetness. My guess is that this wine has nothing to do with the traditional way of making Ripasso (2. fermentation on the leftovers from the dried cluster) - this wine is more likely to be “washed” in the leftovers with real fermentation taking place - I could be wrong though 🤷… Too thin and with no real muscle power behind the sweetness…
