One of the best burgs I have had all year, and even better than the first bottle I had a few months back. Perfectly stored bottle which was still a dark ruby to purple. Clear in the glass albeit quite a lot of sediment. A wonderful barnyard nose. Utterly delightful. Perfectly balanced. Medium bodied. Drank at Sage

Ruby red with little bricking. Red fruits. Cherries and raspberries. Crisp acidity. Lovely balance. Surprisingly primary. Just a hint of secondary flavours. Some woody notes. Great wine.
Drank with Steve, Graeme and Ali in HK.

Purchased on release. Nose: very spicy, earthy, stemy-brambly, dark spices, some sous-bois, smokey, pomegranate-plum fruit. Very tart palate with cranberry, medicinal, smoky and earthy. A little austere and bony. Dry dusty end and finish with cherry and cranberry and spice. Probably a few years past its best. Nose - 5/6, Palate - 4/6, Finish - 4/6, Je Ne Sais Quoi - 1/2 = 14/20.
