Bright strawberry nose, green herbaceous, stem-like notes, chalky minerals, warm spices. Crisp, almost luminous aroma! The acidity is bright and lingering on the palate. Makes it refreshing at the moment, and promises a long life in the cellar. There is a rounded, pure, chewy berry fruit to this wine. The aftertaste is lightly bitter and green, lingering, rich. Very light and elegant tannins!

From magnum. A crazy amount of spritz here, but once that's gone, this is actually a very pleasant and drinkable bottle of gamay. Less candied and not too overwhelming as far as the sucralose flavours go, but a hair thinner and lighter than I would want for a red wine. Give it a chill -- probably better as a summer red.

brief impression. densely colored, nose with good raspberry fruit and a bit of licorice. medium bodied with fresh acidity. punchy and darkly fruited. balanced and integrated, drinking better now than my last bottle and ready to go with a few years in the tank.

Earthy, floral nose. Crunchy cherry fruit, spices. Fresh with good acidity, very precise and pure. I love this vintage for Lapierre’s Morgon.
