  Much, much better than previous bottle...which must have been really off. This wine had good fruit and structure. More Burgundian than most American Pinots.

  Medium garnet in color. Full, forward & fragrant nose of ripe fruit aromas of cherries, strawberries & plums with overtones of spices notes of cinnamon & cloves & floral notes, earthy/dusty, minerals & a slight hint of oak/vanilla in the background. Medium bodied with a very good concentration of well balanced & smooth textured, ripe fruit flavors of cherries, strawberries & plums with spices, minerals & a hint of oak/vanilla. Lingering finish. Drinks quite well at present with decanting & airing but should continue to develop further with additional aging. A wonderful & aromatic wine. Much more "Burgundian" in style than most Sta. Rita Pinots.

  Just absolutely beautiful and transparent. Earth, fruit, minerals. Just an wonderful, pure expression of Pinot Noir. Shows a little savory as well. I love this. Right up the among the best California Pinot noirs.
