Opened this Franc at Bistro Don Lush, creamy red fruits, fresh herbs and minerals. Opulent with lovely balance, barrel slices, milk chocolate, powdery tannins on long finish. Beautiful Franc!

Such a pretty wine. Gorgeous color of ruby to magenta. Freshly picked reddish dark berries, strawberry cream, sprinkled with garden grown herbs and topped with a dash of cinnamon, nutmeg, fennel and anise. Lifting acidity, excellent structure and pliable tannins on super scrumptious finish. Definitely the green herbs and bay leaf nuances are there but work so well with fresh fruit. Spectacular wine!

MH Lounge. Drop dead Gorgeous cab franc. Opulent and plush, great structure. It has intensity but it’s not heavy! Pretty flowers, red fruit jam, powdered munchkins, hints of dark berries, plums and graphite. Mouth coating, explosive, nice acidity and pleasantly grainy tannins on long finish!

One hour decant. Deep dark magenta color. Black cherry, blackberry, eucalyptus, bay leaf, violet, date, and subtle cream soda on the nose. Young and a touch more herbal than I typically go for, but this is very nice. No noticeable pyrazines.

Inaugural release of Herold Franc from Oakville ranch and first Vivino/CT review. 3 hour decant, sediments, bright magenta/purple. Incredible aromas of your favorite bouquet. Mesmerizing! Fresh cut flowers, garden herbs, strawberries, raspberries, dark cherries, hints of vanilla and few spices. On the palate, easy power harnessed by MH, yet it never weighs the wine down, hints of fruit tart, Oakville dirt, powdery tannins, long lifting finish! Excellent!
