By the glass at restaurant -translucent light med gold -super subdued nose -med acidity, med- weight bitter note lightly sweet -too young and definitely a step down from the Rieussec

A blend of Semillon, Sauvignon Blanc, and Muscadelle which was aged in oak barrels for 18 months Pale lemon in colour. light aroma of mango, peach, pineapple and blossom. Sweet palate with medium acidity, alcohol and body. Medium flavour intensity of mango, lychee, peach, pineapple and honey. Medium finish. A good quality wine with good length and intensity of flavours. Not completely in balance and limited complexity.

Put half into a 200ml Perrier bottle, leave in fridge 24 hours… vastly improved. Lovely lanolin creaminess, touch of pineapple, slight toffee burn on finish.
Not great but pleasant now and will probably gain much in the next 1-2 years. Well worth buying
Demi bottle, diam5, 14%.

Sight: Deep gold color with a pale lemon rim Nose: High intensity with aromas of honey, apricot, candied citrus, and vanilla Palate: Sweet with high acidity, medium alcohol, and a full body. Flavors of honey, apricot, and orange peel, with a long and persistent finish. This wine is drinkable now, but will benefit from further aging.

Pop and pour… it’s simple, sweet, boring.
