  A subtle, lean and fresh Sauternes. A blend of 91% Semillon, 5% SB and 4% Muscadelle, wine is aged for 18 months in used oak. Medium golden colour. Aroma of yellow flowers, honey, quince, pineapple, fresh peaches. Palate has a great burst of concentrated fresh fruits balanced by crisp and vibrant acidity. Great depth of flavour and lengthy refreshing finish.

  Creamy juicy, medium Gold after meal companion. The second Southern of this cellar is not too sweet (and in my book this is a plus) with pear, honey, peach, hints of tropical fruit. A great value for money!

  Enjoyed with a Foie gras - pure classic, botrytis with fruity marmalade and good freshness to balance it out, Real treat.

  Conservative Dinner at Spencer House - limited notes.
  Pineapple and nectarine, gentle botrytis, floral nuances. Integrated and well judged balancing acid to prevent cloying. Enjoyable enough but to my taste all a bit light weight at the CT price. The real thing represents better value in my view when contrasted against the many alternatives to this wine.
  For drinking up to 10yrs from vintage.
