Very pale straw, but with a remarkably aromatic nose showcasing white peach and apple aromas, very clean and crisp. On the palate, a lovely balance here between the fruit, which was brought in ripe but not overtly sweet, and the acidity, which is in balance and not at all excessive. An excellent Sancerre, absolutely classic in my book! Highly recommended, particularly at the price ($27, from DB Fine Wines).
